Call Out
Tell Me What's On Your Mind
A "call out" is when someone on one end of a hiking group needs to contact someone on the other end of the group. This might happen when there is a particularly nasty obstacle in the trail. The leader will point it out and each hiker will “call out” to the one behind him so that all see it. Another example might be when someone in the back is injured and unable to continue. Each hiker will “call out” to the hiker in front of him until the leading hiker is aware of the situation so the entire group stays together. My point? I am on one end of this website. You are on the other. Give me a “call out.” Tell me what you think. Do you have a question? Send it to me for an answer. Do you have a comment that popped into your head when reading something on this site? Let’s hear it. Do you have an idea of something that you would like to see on the site? Something missing? Just ask. Do you have a favorite story or hiking experience that you would like to share? I’d love to hear about it. It’s easy. Fill out the form below. Let me hear from you. Don’t worry, I hate spam too. I will never sell or share your e-mail address with anyone. I will only use it to contact you to respond to your question or comment. I promise!
